Guide to Painting with Light

A few of my friends requested this, so I thought I'd make it my first uploaded piece . Sorry it's super gigantic. I may make a follow-up tutorial based on painting technique. Or maybe one on animation... hmm.

I tried to make it not too platform/program-specific, but it does lean toward photoshop since that's what I (and a lot of other people) use. Theoretically, you could apply the information here to traditional media too. You just have to do a little bit more work in your head.
